10x Genomics launched Sentira Single Cell, a cloud application that uses Anthropic's Claude models to analyze data from its Chromium platform. Researchers ask questions through a chat interface, while the application writes analysis code and runs multiple analyses on 10x Cloud without requiring users to manage computing infrastructure.

The service charges through cloud credit packs. The company estimates that an analysis through experimental conclusions requires around 60 credits; a 100-credit pack costs $120. Users receive 100 promotional credits for their first uploaded Chromium dataset.

10x says researcher data helps improve the application but does not flow back into the models. Its CTO cautions that results require additional review before publication.
