OpenAI rolls out Ultrafast for GPT-6.1 Sol in Codex Image: Primary
OpenAI is rolling out Ultrafast for GPT-6.1 Sol in Codex, promising up to eight times faster token generation, Yahoo Finance reported. The company is also introducing a Decisions API for quick judgments made by AI applications and autonomous agents. Standard GPT-6.1 Sol pricing is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, compared with $10 and $50 for GPT-6 Astra. OpenAI's claims that Sol approaches Astra on demanding benchmarks come from its own evaluations; performance differences depend on the application.
