Google has committed €13 billion to AI infrastructure in Finland, according to Forkast News, including an expansion in Hamina and planned sites in Muhos, Vaala and Kajaani.

The report says Google signed a 22-year power purchase agreement with Fortum tied to output from the Loviisa nuclear plant. It says the agreement begins with smaller capacity in 2028 and is scheduled to scale to 50% of Loviisa output from 2030 through 2049. The reported buildout also includes grid improvements, battery storage and clean-energy generation.
