Meta's Muse AI agent is available through its app and WhatsApp, offering to browse websites and handle tasks such as finding deals, booking reservations and managing inboxes.

WIRED reports that the app exceeded 900,000 downloads in its first week, citing Sensor Tower. Muse can connect to email and bank accounts, retains a user memory document, and defaults users into allowing interactions to help train Meta's AI models; that setting can be disabled.

Meta said users control how they use the agent.
