Google announced that users can launch personal Android apps built with Google AI Studio through Google Play using a standard Google account. The apps remain private to their creators and do not appear in Play's search results or listing pages. Initial access is for U.S. users age 18 and up.

The apps must comply with existing Google Play policies. Google plans to add sharing with trusted friends in the months ahead, while public publication will require completion of trust and safety reviews.
