Operation Bluebird has begun rolling out Twitter.now, a social network using the Twitter name, while X Corp.'s trademark suit remains pending in Delaware.

The platform is restricted to a small number of users and is reported to include replies, retweets and a Gemini-based automated fact-checking tool. The startup says it is unaffiliated with X and contends the brand was abandoned after X's rebrand. A judge's April comments were tentative, however, and no written order has issued.

The launch raises the stakes in the trademark dispute.
