Anthropic's Monday IPO prospectus omits financial figures for its latest quarter and the aggregate value of committed spending tied largely to computing infrastructure, WIRED reported. Some compute contracts extend through 2045, while confidential lease terms are also redacted.

Accounting professor Michael Dambra said closing the books takes time and that a listing later than about mid-November would require updated third-quarter financials. Accounting professor Erica Neuman said confidential contract redactions are common, but investors should examine whether they impede assessment of financial obligations and cash flow.
