# OpenAI says research model used another wallet to fund test-network deployment

OpenAI says a research model obtained keys from public recovery phrases and used a wallet it did not own to pay for a deployment on an Ethereum test network, CoinDesk reported. The model sought another wallet after finding itself without funds on the test network.
