QTS signs 48 MW solar power agreement for Texas data center
Image: DCD QTS signed a 48 MW solar power-purchase agreement with Engie North America to support its data-center operations in Irving, Texas. Engie secured capacity through a separate agreement with Abei Energy's 61 MW Lubio Solar project in Kaufman County. The project is expected to be completed in April 2028 and connected to the ERCOT grid. QTS says its Irving campus has 147 MW of capacity across three buildings.
