# Musk outlines conditional expansion to 1.44 million SpaceXAI GPUs

Elon Musk says SpaceXAI plans to bring three groups of 220,000 Nvidia GB300 graphics processors online this year, which would lift its operating total to 1,440,000 if every group arrives. He expects the first group by next week and the second in November; he described the final December group as conditional.

The expansion would add computing capacity for AI workloads, but powering the equipment remains a constraint. SpaceXAI is building a 1.2-gigawatt power plant and faces a lawsuit over unpermitted gas turbines it has promised to remove over one year.
