Nvidia board adds $150 billion to share repurchase authorization

Nvidia said its board authorized a $150 billion increase to its existing share repurchase program, bringing the total remaining authorization to $235 billion. The decision expands the amount the chipmaker may spend buying back its shares. The company expects to execute the remaining program through fiscal year 2028. Authorization permits repurchases but does not mean Nvidia has bought shares under the added amount. The company did not set out a fixed purchase schedule in the announcement.
