ChatGPT is now a partner for your most ambitious work. OpenAI announced the launch of ChatGPT Work, an agent that can take action across apps and files, stay with a project for hours if needed, and turn a goal into finished work.

ChatGPT Work is powered by the latest frontier model, GPT-5.6, which is also rolling out today. It helps users take on more ambitious tasks by gathering information across apps and workflows to create finished materials like sheets, slides, docs, and web apps. The feature is rolling out today for Pro, Enterprise, and Edu plans on web and mobile, and will roll out to Plus and Business plans over the next few days.

In the ChatGPT desktop app, Chat, Work, and Codex are available on every plan, including Free, and are available globally to download on Windows and Mac.
