Revolut confirmed that an unauthorized party obtained customer records by submitting fraudulent information requests through an email address using a legitimate government agency's domain. The company said the request passed domain-authentication checks and was handled as a genuine government request. It said its systems and customer funds were not affected, but records disclosed may have included identity, contact, document and financial information. Revolut said it blocked the address and notified authorities and affected customers.
