An unofficial project now runs Nvidia's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on some AMD Radeon GPUs by replacing its neural network runtime with an implementation for AMD hardware. The developer says it works in DirectX 12 games that use FSR on Radeon RX 9000 and RX 7000 cards.

Ancient Gameplays tested the latest alpha build in Cyberpunk 2077 and measured roughly 50 frames per second, up from roughly 30 in an earlier build. The same card exceeded 80 frames per second without Neural Rendering, and compatibility still varies by game and GPU.
