Nvidia says European partners are building data centers using DSX

Nvidia says European partners are building data centers using DSX Image: Primary
European infrastructure companies are building AI data centers using Nvidia's DSX reference design, the chipmaker said at GTC Berlin. Nscale is using the design to model sites in Iceland and Portugal before construction, while engineering partners are developing power, cooling and equipment designs. DSX combines chips, networking, power and cooling in one system. Nvidia says closed-loop liquid cooling with dry coolers could save 54 million litres of water a day at a two-gigawatt site by avoiding evaporative cooling. Local weather determines whether additional cooling is needed on the hottest days. Several operating software tools remain in developer preview.
