Eaton reported third-quarter revenue of $8.9 billion, up 28% from a year earlier, supported by demand across its electrical and aerospace businesses. The power management company posted adjusted earnings of $3.68 per share, exceeding analysts' $3.54 consensus estimate.

Organic sales grew 19%, above the upper end of management's previous guidance. Acquisitions contributed 8 percentage points to reported revenue growth. Segment operating margins reached 25.3%, exceeding both the upper end of guidance and the prior-year figure by 30 basis points.
