LiveRamp adds customer audience targeting to ChatGPT Ads integration

Advertisers can now use LiveRamp's RampID to target or exclude customer and prospect audiences in ChatGPT Ads, Search Engine Journal reported. The integration expands a partnership that previously focused on measuring conversions after ad exposure. RampID connects customer data from sources including CRM systems, loyalty programs, websites and apps. Existing LiveRamp customers can activate those audiences in ChatGPT without maintaining separate audience files. The integration is initially available in 11 markets. Advertisers can already upload customer audiences directly through OpenAI Ads Manager, so LiveRamp is an additional route. Public performance data for these audiences remains limited, and OpenAI's audience-size requirements constrain how narrowly advertisers can segment customers.
