SAN FRANCISCO The Sijbrandij Foundation launched the Data Center Power Coalition this week. The coalition brings together an initial group of 12 technology and energy partners to standardize how power infrastructure is planned and deployed for AI data centers. The 12 founding partners are Amperesand, DG Matrix, Emerald AI, Florrent, GridCare, Hammerhead, Hanwha, Hitachi, NeuralWatt, Planted Solar, Skeleton Technologies and Voltus. The coalition is built around the foundation's Data Center Power Playbook. The open-source framework outlines a four-phase approach that includes power-first site selection, initial on-site generation, modular clean-energy buildouts and accelerated grid interconnection supported The announcement was made via ACCESS Newswire on June 30, 2026. The coalition advances power co-development, planning power alongside compute from the start.
