# AWS adds Claude Fable 5.1 with special retention and review terms

AWS said Claude Fable 5.1 became available last week through Amazon Bedrock and Claude Platform on AWS. AWS describes the model as intended for long-running work across coding, scientific research and enterprise workflows.

Anthropic has classified it as a Covered Model, and AWS says prompts and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days and reviewed by Amazon personnel under a new aws_review data-retention mode. AWS said Bedrock does not share customer data with the model provider under its legacy provider_data_share mode.
