Cybercriminals associated with the Rhysida ransomware operation allegedly breached Berlin government-agency systems and exfiltrated about 5.6 TB of data, according to reports cited by Cybersecurity Insiders.

After authorities reportedly declined ransom demands, the stolen material was offered for sale for 30 bitcoin. The dataset is said to relate to more than 46,500 contracts and may include contact information and credentials. Berlin authorities reportedly engaged forensic specialists and said they would not pay; the report says voter databases were not compromised.
