Blue Voice emerged from stealth with a $6 million funding round led by SignalFire and Las Olas VC, TechCrunch reported. The Boston startup provides officers with real-time access to department-specific laws, ordinances, protocols and guidelines. Its founders say officers at 225 county agencies in 25 states use the tool daily. Blue Voice says the system links users to original regulations rather than directing officer action, and it has added functionality intended to help detectives work on cold cases.
