Hansa adopts Cradle AI platform across drug discovery pipeline

Hansa adopts Cradle AI platform across drug discovery pipeline Image: Primary
Hansa Biopharma announced on October 1 that it is deploying Cradle's AI protein engineering platform across its discovery pipeline to develop immunomodulatory therapies for autoimmune disease. Hansa selected the platform after evaluating several models and vendors. The software supports candidate identification and optimization of multiple protein properties, including activity, stability and expression. Cradle says it builds a custom model after each experimental round using public datasets, its own laboratory data and customer results, while keeping models trained on customer data private to that customer. The companies aim to accelerate development; the partnership announcement does not establish clinical outcomes.
