Anthropic releases Haiku 5.5 with lower token prices

Anthropic releases Haiku 5.5 with lower token prices Image: Primary
Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5 on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, a weekly AI product roundup on note reports. Input under 100,000 tokens costs $0.10 per million tokens, while output costs $0.50 per million tokens-a 90% price reduction compared with Haiku 4.5. The lightweight model targets document summarization, classification, extraction, customer support, browser operation and agents assisting higher-end models. Anthropic says actual task costs have fallen by an average of about 75% when differences in token usage are included, distinguishing that claimed saving from the reduction in token prices.
