# Google opens experimental Playground game creator to US adults

Google has launched Playground, an experimental browser platform that lets US users aged 18 and older create games through text prompts without coding. Creation access is rolling out in tiers based on Google One membership.

Users can change rules, physics, characters, and environments through a conversational interface, then test their games. They can keep games private, share links, or publish them to a community gallery. Published games undergo safety screenings, and multiplayer is supported in select genres.

Google plans an integration with Unity Spark for more advanced mechanics and 3D capabilities. Unity Spark remains in testing, with a closed beta coming soon.
