SolarWindow Technologies has announced the commercial launch of ElectroFlex, a flexible self-adhesive solar product that it says is initially available to Tier 1 original equipment manufacturers in the United States. The company says the 0.85 mm five-layer laminate uses interdigitated back-contact cells and can be applied without frames, rigid glass or conventional support structures. It is targeting transportation, marine, aerospace, building, agriculture and infrastructure uses, with expansion to selected North American and Asian markets planned over coming quarters.
