Hybrid quantum model processes larger medical images in preprint

Researchers report in a preprint that a hybrid quantum model processed grayscale and color medical images and moderately sized 3D volumes, extending beyond the image sizes that limited earlier quantum approaches. A quantum device handles one stage of the image generation process, while a conventional model learns to remove noise from the data.
