Marble raises €6.5 million for fraud and compliance software
Image: Primary Paris-based Marble raised €6.5 million in a Series A round led by Smartfin, bringing its total funding to €9 million. The company develops open-source software that banks, fintechs and payment providers use to detect fraud and meet anti-money-laundering requirements.
Marble says its platform lets compliance teams create and test detection rules without waiting for an IT project. It can run on a customer's servers or as a hosted service. The company plans to use the new funding to add AI tools for writing rules, sorting alerts and investigating cases; those additions are plans rather than deployed capabilities.
