Geely says a new electric-vehicle battery can charge from 10% to 70% in 4.5 minutes at up to 2.2 megawatts. It reports a 10% to 98% charging time of 8 minutes and 40 seconds and says the pack has been tested in the Zeekr 001 and Lynk and Co 10.

Geely says AI-based temperature controls manage heat during charging, with an average pack temperature of 55°C and a peak of 65°C.
