# SB Energy files for US IPO citing 8.8GW of data-center capacity

SB Energy, a SoftBank-backed data-center firm, filed for a US initial public offering, Bloomberg reported. In its filing, the company said it has 8.8 gigawatts of data-center capacity contracted or under construction in Texas and Ohio, alongside a $430 billion data-center segment backlog. The filing said the IPO would fund the company.
