Google Cloud announced Gemini agent for enterprise customers, currently in private preview. The agent can answer questions, create media, write and run code, and work on behalf of individuals, teams, or organizational roles, according to Google.

It runs in the cloud and delegates multistep work to supporting agents that can coordinate tasks for hours or days. Jobs use models from the Gemini and Claude families, while an API supports integration into applications without a dedicated interface. Google plans wider availability for Workspace customers on select Business and Enterprise plans, but that rollout has not yet occurred.
