Aseon Labs has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Crane Venture Partners. The Redwood City, California-based company emerged from Y Combinator's 2026 spring cohort. It is developing parking space-sized automated pods to inspect, clean and charge robotaxis at distributed locations in cities. The pods are intended to reduce the need for vehicles to travel long distances to central facilities.

The startup was co-founded by the team behind battery-swapping company Pushme. Co-founder and chief executive George Kalligeros said the seed capital will support construction of five prototype pods, expansion of the current six-person robotics and engineering team to about a dozen employees, and acquisition of real estate for an initial network.

Additional investors include Y Combinator, Expa, Robin Hood Ventures, Founders Capital and angel investors such as Adrian Aoun, Immad Akhund and Rajat Suri, along with operators from Anthropic, Nuro, Turo and Revolut. The company remains in early stages of development.
