# Avo Embeds DynaMed into the EHR with the First Context-Aware AI Consult Tool

Avo announced a partnership with EBSCO Clinical Decisions to embed DynaMed content directly into the electronic health record via its Ask Avo AI consult tool.

The integration allows clinicians to search the EHR, ask clinical questions, and receive evidence-based answers grounded in both trusted medical content and real-time patient context, all within a single seamless workflow. Clinicians can also use Ask Avo to auto-draft clinical notes and diagnoses informed by DynaMed content.

EBSCO Clinical Decisions solutions are used by nearly 1,000 hospitals across the United States and Canada.

Roy Ziegelstein, MD, MACP, editor in chief of DynaMed, said it is clear that clinicians want quick access to high-quality medical information fully integrated into their workflows. He added that by integrating the expert-curated, evidence-based content into Ask Avo, trusted knowledge is delivered in context and under the governance health systems expect.
