Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with Intel vPro launched on 18A process

Intel announced the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with Intel vPro on March 25, 2026. The platform is the first commercial PC solution built on the Intel 18A process node. It targets business users with power-efficient performance, industry-leading security and simplified device management for IT teams. The processors support laptops through advanced workstations. They add integrated AI acceleration along with next-generation performance efficiency. Intel stated that the combination powers more than 125 designs across enterprise, education, government and SMB segments. Users moving from four-year-old systems can expect over 30 percent faster single and multi-thread performance. The platform also delivers up to 30 percent higher productivity and up to 4 times the AI performance. These improvements enable faster everyday tasks, richer collaboration and new AI-powered workflows. Intel vPro enhancements include AI-driven analytics that detect and resolve device issues. A certification program reduces CPU utilization and background activity while improving power efficiency. Fleet services allow simplified out-of-band manageability through Microsoft Intune. David Feng, vice president of the Client Computing Group and general manager of PC Segments at Intel, said the offering gives IT and business leaders the performance, power efficiency, security, manageability and AI capability needed for the next era of work. Commercial PCs powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Intel vPro will be available starting March 31, 2026.
