Gemini 3.1 Pro released by Google DeepMind

Google DeepMind released Gemini 3.1 Pro, an upgraded version of the core intelligence in the Gemini 3 series. The model is being shipped across consumer and developer products. The release follows a major update last week to Gemini 3 Deep Think for challenges across science, research and engineering. Gemini 3.1 Pro is a smarter baseline for complex problem solving. On the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark for solving new logic patterns, the model achieved a verified score of 77.1 percent. This is more than double the reasoning performance of 3 Pro. Access is available in preview for developers through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio, Gemini CLI, Google Antigravity and Android Studio. Enterprises can use the model in Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise. Consumers have access via the Gemini app and NotebookLM. Google said it is releasing the model in preview to validate updates before general availability soon. Users with Google AI Pro and Ultra plans receive higher limits in the Gemini app. The model is also available on NotebookLM for those plan users.
