Deep33 has launched a venture capital fund with a $100 million first close. The firm focuses on deep tech companies building critical infrastructure in the United States and its allies, particularly along the US-Israel corridor. It has already backed five startups in quantum computing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, advanced energy and robotics.

Lior Prosor, managing partner and formerly a partner at Hanaco, said the fund was created after months of research to identify areas requiring immediate investment for the West, led by the United States, to win the AI race. The firm plans to complete its $150 million raise this quarter. Arkin Capital, led by Nir Arkin, is a major investor.

Founders include Michael Broukhim, a serial entrepreneur with prior investments in Stripe and SpaceX. Col. (res.) Joab Rosenberg, a quantum physicist and former commander of the Talpiot program, leads quantum investments. The team includes experts from technological and intelligence backgrounds.

Deep33 has invested in quantum firms QuamCore and CyberRidge as well as energy company Particle. Two stealth startups work on sustainable fuel production and optimization of GPU utilization for AI computing. The fund's thesis addresses what its founders describe as the AI SuperCycle, noting over $1 trillion in commitments from tech giants with $315 billion allocated for 2025.
