# Metris Energy raises €4.35 million and launches renewable-asset AI interface

London-based Metris Energy raised a €4.35 million Seed round and introduced Metria AI, an interface designed to perform tasks previously handled manually by renewable-energy operations teams. PT1 Ventures, Octopus Ventures, AENU and Blackfinch Ventures led the financing, which brings total funding to €6.53 million.

Metris combines performance, revenue and operational records from meters, inverters, SCADA systems, business software and energy markets, then adds automated workflows and AI agents. The company plans to expand into wind and combined heat and power systems and grow in Europe, particularly Germany. It says its platform manages more than 10,000 solar plants and 500MW of capacity.
