Unconventional AI is acquiring Israeli chip startup NeuReality in a transaction approved by both companies' boards and expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, CTech reported. Financial terms were not disclosed.

NeuReality develops silicon and systems for running trained AI models, targeting bottlenecks in data movement and system orchestration. Its founders and engineering team will join Unconventional, with its engineering presence in Israel expected to remain.

The acquisition adds chip-design and systems expertise to Unconventional's effort to develop a new computing architecture. Its target of improving AI computing efficiency by 1,000 times remains a goal rather than a demonstrated result.
