OpenAI expands ChatGPT for Teachers to 55 more U.S. districts
OpenAI announced 55 new partnerships with U.S. school districts for ChatGPT for Teachers, bringing the product to districts representing more than 300,000 staff members and 2 million students. The adult-only tool gives districts oversight and includes educator-focused onboarding and prompts. OpenAI says it does not train models for the product on user submissions and has signed data-privacy agreements covering 16 states. The company says the service will remain free through June 2028.
