Portus tops out second data center facility in Munich
Image: primary European data center firm Portus has topped out its MU2 facility in Munich, Germany. The 2,200 square meter site will provide 5.5MW of capacity with liquid cooling and is scheduled to go live in early 2027.
The project expands the company's Munich campus to 7MW total. Portus broke ground on MU2 in September alongside partner Mercury.
Portus was formed in 2024 by Arcus Infrastructure Partners through the acquisition of operators including SDC SpaceNet DataCenter. The firm continues to expand sites in Germany and neighboring countries.
