Alphabet plans to raise $80 billion through stock sales to fund its AI infrastructure buildout.

The company said it is experiencing strong demand for its AI solutions that exceeds available supply. It will use the funds for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures to scale AI infrastructure and global compute.

Alphabet will sell $10 billion in stock to Berkshire Hathaway. The company expects to spend between $180 billion and $190 billion on capex this year.
