Flai said Tuesday it raised a $27 million Series A led by Base10 Partners for its AI software serving car dealerships. Investors included Friedkin Group, Findlay Automotive, Toyota's venture arm, Y Combinator and First Round Capital.

The software handles customer calls, emails and texts, runs outbound campaigns and schedules sales and service appointments. CEO Ari Polakof told TechCrunch that Flai works with more than 10 of the country's top 50 dealer groups and books 50,000 appointments per month.

Polakof reported a 20x revenue increase and said the software can go live at a dealership 10 days after a contract is signed.
