# Braid raises €34.13 million for enterprise mobile connectivity

Dutch connectivity company Braid raised €34.13 million ($38 million) in a Series A led by Octopus Ventures, with KPN Ventures participating. The round is its first external capital since its founding in 2023 and accompanies a rebrand from Next Communications.

Braid provides a single software interface connecting more than 600 carrier networks across over 200 countries. Enterprises can use it to embed SIM and eSIM connectivity in their products or launch branded storefronts without becoming telecom operators.

The company says it is profitable and cash-flow positive and serves close to 90 enterprise customers. It plans to spend the funding on international expansion, carrier relationships and infrastructure.
