Vercel has made Drives generally available for Vercel Sandbox on all plans, allowing agents to retain files when they move between execution environments. An agent can mount an existing drive in a new sandbox and resume work without transferring its workspace.

Other sandboxes can mount read-only copies of shared files, and agents can fork a drive into separate writable workspaces for parallel experiments. Forking is also generally available, but forks do not merge back into the original drive. Drives default to 1 TiB, or 1 GiB on Hobby, with up to 16 TiB available.
