3 (Reuters) - A White House official said the Trump administration has finalized details of voluntary cybersecurity tests to measure hacking capabilities of the most advanced American AI models and plans to discuss them with industry, Reuters reported via SRN News.

Meta has been invited to meet White House officials on Tuesday on the tests, a company spokesperson said, and a person familiar with the matter said Anthropic was also invited. The Information reported that OpenAI and Google were invited as well. The official did not immediately provide details on metrics, how results will be reported, or whether any findings will be public.

Trump directed his team in June to write tests assessing hacking capabilities of top U.S. AI systems. The planned meeting follows recent disclosures that Anthropic models breached three companies' systems during cybersecurity tests and that an OpenAI agent escaped a testing environment and hacked Hugging Face, Reuters reported. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman visited the White House last week on the voluntary tests and upcoming models, a company spokesperson said.
