Coursera said it is making a $100 million strategic equity investment in LearnVector Inc., a new AI-native learning company founded and led by Coursera co-founder Andrew Ng.

Coursera said the stake currently represents a one-third ownership interest in LearnVector on a fully diluted basis. LearnVector aims to build one-on-one learning experiences that adapt to the learner, practice with them, and stay engaged until mastery, rather than chatbot-style answers. The parties are exploring commercial collaborations that would pair Ng's agentic AI work with Coursera's content and an enterprise and higher-education ecosystem the company said reaches more than 300 million learners and 12,000 enterprise customers.

Coursera said the first LearnVector product experiences are targeted for early 2027. Ng is CEO of LearnVector. Coursera CEO Greg Hart said the investment fits a strategy of putting AI to work across Coursera's platform after the company's combination with Udemy.
