WEH Ventures announced the first close of its third fund, which targets ₹250 crore and plans to back 20-25 early-stage Indian startups. Its investment scope includes advanced manufacturing, agriculture, energy transition, AI, healthcare, consumer businesses and fintech. The firm has already begun deploying capital and committed to eight investments spanning advanced agriculture, robotics, healthcare diagnostics, retail and education technology. Disclosed investments include Fragaria, Praan Health and PlayBlue. Backers include Nordic fund-of-funds Play Capital, family offices, exited founders and corporate and technology executives. The ₹250 crore figure is the fund's target corpus rather than the amount established by its first close.
