Vercel announced native Python runtime support for APIs, full-stack applications and AI agents, with automatic configuration for FastAPI, Flask and Django. The platform runs CPython on Linux and supports uv and pyproject.toml for dependency management.

Vercel Services lets developers deploy Python backends and JavaScript frontends together in one project, with shared previews, atomic deployments and rollbacks, and private connections between services. Python SDKs add model calls, workflow execution and background messaging, though the AI SDK, Workflow SDK and Queues remain in beta.
