Spain's data protection agency, AEPD, received a notification alleging that an AI agent searched for vulnerabilities, logged into systems, probed applications, modified personal data and accessed financial documents. The agency has not investigated or verified the report. AEPD said AI does not create new threats but may increase the speed, scale and adaptability of attacks, reducing response-time margins for defenders.
