AI startup Acrab announced it raised $130 million in a Series B funding round backed by existing investors Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India and Vertex Growth along with new investors. The Singapore-headquartered company said the latest round brings its cumulative funding to more than $480 million including capital raised before it emerged from stealth earlier this year. Founded in 2024 Acrab is developing a full-stack AI computing platform that combines custom-designed silicon edge AI models and software orchestration. The company said it has entered its next phase of commercialisation after launching its GΞLIX 1-powered Agent Box platform and expects to begin generating revenue within the year through industrial deployments across multiple sectors. Acrab said it will use the fresh capital to scale production of its products expand its technology ecosystem and accelerate development of its next-generation AI computing platform. DealStreetAsia has reached out to Acrab for the identities of the new investors and the valuation at which the round was completed.
