Xpeng's robotics unit raised more than $900 million at a post-money valuation above $6.3 billion, TechCrunch reported, as Chinese automakers broaden their humanoid-robot efforts. IDG Capital led the round, with Gaorong Ventures, Tencent and Alibaba participating, according to the article. Xpeng is developing Iron, a humanoid robot intended for commercial deployment.
